When the Building Never Stops
At a destination sports complex, the calendar never really clears. Tournaments, leagues, camps, clinics, and showcases run back to back, often all at once, with thousands of athletes on site in a single day. Coverage at that scale is not a scheduling task. It is operating infrastructure, as essential to running the building as power and staffing. For a facility this busy, athletic training has to be reliable, organized, and always on.
The Facility’s Challenge
Spooky Nook Sports packs more than 700,000 square feet of indoor space under one roof: 10 hardwood basketball courts, 10 volleyball courts, indoor turf fields, a 200-meter track, a climbing center, and a hotel, across 14 acres. With that much activity, athletic training coverage was constant and schedules changed fast. Filling every shift with a qualified trainer meant arduous, ongoing coordination.
On top of staffing, the facility needed real emergency preparedness and clean injury documentation. When thousands of people are on site in a day, clear Emergency Action Plans and professional records protect athletes, families, event operators, and the facility itself. Handling all of it internally and through smaller providers created a heavy administrative burden.
The Solution: Managed Services
Go4 designed a complete participant health and safety solution built for high-volume facilities. It pairs a network of more than 26,000 athletic trainers with technology that fills shifts, produces and distributes detailed Emergency Action Plans, and documents injuries in a HIPAA-compliant way.
Through the Managed Services model, Go4 sources, schedules, and manages the trainers, then handles Emergency Action Plan distribution and injury documentation alongside it. Bringing staffing, preparedness, and records into one unified solution cut operational complexity and took pressure off the internal team, turning a constant coordination headache into a dependable, professional safety operation.
“Operating a facility at this scale requires more than just finding athletic trainers. You need a partner that can consistently manage coverage, support emergency preparedness, and bring structure to documentation and communication. Go4 helped us create a dependable and professional approach to participant safety.”
Kyle Brobst, General Manager, Spooky Nook Sports
The Takeaway
A facility that never stops needs safety coverage that never slips. Go4 Managed Services gives high-volume sports facilities one partner for staffing, emergency preparedness, and documentation, so the building keeps running and every athlete stays protected.
