Go4 Marketplace Standards
Community Policies
By accessing Go4’s platform and services, you agree to abide by our terms and conditions. This includes abiding to our Terms of Services, which provides Go4 the sole discretion for limiting or removing your access to the platform. Our goal is to create a safe and positive experience for both the job posters and athletic trainers utilizing the Go4 market.
Go4’s Guarantee
At Go4, we’re a team of athletic trainers, parents, coaches, and tournament operators. We want to see your job run smoothly, and your participants cared for. Our experience was the impetus for growing the Go4 market; a place for athletic trainers and job posters to connect confidently for participant health and safety.
> For Job Posters on the Go4 platform: you can verify the credentials of athletic trainers through their profiles. These profiles include an athletic trainer’s experience, licensure, national certification and professional liability insurance. You’re not hiring a stranger from the internet, but a highly-skilled professional.
> For Athletic Trainers on the Go4 platform: you are paid through the platform via direct deposit. There is no need to track down checks, cash payments, IOUs or worse–submitting invoices for payment months later.
Good Faith Efforts
The following guidelines should be followed unless uncontrollable circumstances arise:
> Job Cancellations: Cancelling jobs where both athletic trainers and job posters have confirmed the job should not happen unless mitigating factors like unsafe weather conditions, act of God or illness occur.
> Adherence to Schedule: Both athletic trainers and job posters should adhere to the agreed upon schedule to the best of both party’s abilities. In the occurrence that a job runs over time, shift modifications can be requested directly through the app.
> Accurate Job Listings: When posting a job on Go4, accurate information is necessary for transparency. To the best of your knowledge, Job Posters should list the accurate number of participants, medical supplies, fields and staff to allow both parties the opportunity to make an informed decision.
> Avoiding Extra Charges: Charging for standard athletic trainer services such as one could reasonably expect from the job description should be avoided.
> Legality of Activities: The activity for which you seek an athletic trainer will comply with all federal, state, local and other, laws, ordinances, orders, license requirements, and regulations.
Soliciting Off-Platform
For Job Posters:
The following actions are strictly prohibited:
> Contacting athletic trainers found on Go4 for current, new or future jobs to work off-platform.
> Cancelling existing jobs where an athletic trainer has been confirmed in an effort to hire that athletic trainer off-platform.
> Encouraging athletic trainers currently working a job on Go4 to reach out to you personally outside of the platform for future PRN or contract positions.
> Asking athletic trainers for their personal contact or identifying information (outside of their athletic trainer profile on Go4) in ways unrelated to their immediate job or responsibilities for a job that they are confirmed to work.
> Requesting sensitive personal information including social security numbers to perform credit checks or background checks.
> Sharing athletic trainer contact information to share with third parties
> Utilizing searches, social profiles, or other employment history to locate personal contact information from athletic trainers that apply to work your job.
> Requesting bank information, providing a check or cash as payment for providing athletic trainer services.
> Requesting personal or organizational reviews on a third-party site such as Google, Yahoo, Bing or social media.

Cancellation Policy
While cancellations are unavoidable in any job marketplace, Go4 is dedicated to maintaining a fair and dependable environment for all users. Go4’s cancellation policy aligns with standard practices in the job marketplace industry. Below is how Go4 fairly compensates athletic trainers for their time when they experience a late cancellation and the steps we take to discourage athletic trainers from canceling confirmed jobs.
For Job Posters:
When canceling a confirmed athletic trainer, the below cancellation fees apply (effective January 1, 2025)
> Cancellations of a confirmed athletic trainer more than 73 hours before the scheduled start date: The job poster will be charged the Go4 service fee for the canceled position (some exclusions may apply).
> Cancellations of a confirmed athletic trainer within 25 to 72 hours of the scheduled start time: The job poster will be charged 25% of the shift cost, which will be paid to the athletic trainer.
> Cancellations of a confirmed athletic trainer within 24 hours of the scheduled start time: The job poster will be charged 50% of the shift cost, which will be paid to the athletic trainer.
If an athletic trainer cancels (calls out from) a confirmed job, the below steps are taken:
> Replacement Process: When an athletic trainer calls out from a confirmed job, Go4 automatically relists it on the platform. To help fill the job quickly, targeted emails and push notifications are sent to athletic trainers in the area.
> Transparent Callout History: An athletic trainer’s callout history is visible to hiring organizations, providing additional information to make informed hiring decisions.
> Reliability Score: A Reliability Score is visible on every athletic trainer’s profile. This score reflects the ratio of jobs worked to callouts within 7 days of a shift. Frequent callouts negatively impact an athletic trainer’s score, making this score an important factor for job posters to consider when selecting applicants.
> Account Suspension: Go4 monitors callout frequency and reserves the right to suspend or terminate access for athletic trainers who call out excessively.
For cancellations due to extenuating circumstances, such as a local weather emergency, please reach out to us–we’re here to work with you.
For Athletic Trainers:
The following policies are in place:
> Athletic Trainer Callouts: If an athletic trainer calls out from a confirmed shift within 7 days of the scheduled start date, the callout will be recorded on their account and negatively affect their Reliability Score. Both the Callout Count and Reliability Score are visible to hiring organizations on the athletic trainer’s profile.
> Account Suspension: Go4 monitors callout frequency and reserves the right to suspend or terminate access for athletic trainers who call out excessively.
> Late Cancellation Compensation: If a confirmed job is canceled within 72 hours from the shift start, athletic trainers will be paid a percentage of the shift pay based on the cancellation timeline. (Effective 1/1/2025.)
Exceptions
The following exceptions may be considered case by case basis:
> After confirming an athletic trainer through the platform, it may be necessary to confirm their preferred method of communication, utilizing their contact details provided in their Go4 profile. These communications should be restricted to job-specific details.
