Your Voice Matters: Take the 2025 Athletic Training Compensation Survey
The 2025 Athletic Training Compensation Survey is your chance to shape the future of the profession. By taking part, you are helping to create the most accurate picture of what it means to work as an athletic trainer today.
What We Learned in 2024
Last year, Go4 published the 2024 Compensation Survey White Paper, which revealed real challenges and opportunities in athletic training. We saw gender, race and ethnicity-based pay gaps, questions about debt-to-income balance, and big differences across work settings. More importantly, we saw athletic trainers use the data to negotiate raises, secure additional staffing, and make informed career decisions.
The 2024 report proved that this survey is more than numbers. It is a tool for advocacy and change. By participating year after year, the survey becomes a longitudinal study, showing whether progress is being made or if inequities persist.
Why 2025 Matters
- Track progress: Annual data helps us see whether the profession is moving forward or falling behind.
- Strengthen advocacy: Reliable numbers give ATs leverage when asking for raises, better benefits, or structural change.
- Empower individuals: The results help athletic trainers benchmark their pay and benefits and make better career choices.
- Drive change: A stronger dataset allows the profession to demand fair compensation and support across every setting.
