Announcing the 2024 Compensation Survey White Paper
So, remember Vision 2030?
It was a massive document that discussed a bunch of problems and made a ton of promises about how we are going to help fix them.
Well–Here is the first promise kept! The 2024 Athletic Trainer Compensation Survey White Paper is here!
So what? Why did you do this? How does this help me?
Well, we found that previous surveys on salary in athletic training had a lot of gaps. It left us with a bunch of more questions and without tools to advocate ourselves or help drive larger change.
So, I teamed up with the best survey researchers I know–my dear friends Lindsey Eberman, PhD, LAT, ATC, FNATA and Justin Young, DAT, LAT, ATC.
And we started “The 2024 Athletic Trainer Compensation Survey”. A survey that dug deeper and examined things a little differently in order to answer bigger questions.
So if you have ever pondered things like:
“Am I getting paid enough?”
“Do I get paid as much as my male counterparts?” →Spoiler: Definitely not and this is a huge problem
“Why do I cringe so hard every time I have to make a payment on my credit card, student loans or mortgage payments?”
“Was it actually a good thing to move to the Master’s Degree?” → Spoiler: We finally settled this argument!
“Is it worth the money to go get at DAT?”
“What setting makes the most money in AT?”
“I’ve thought about leaving the profession, am I alone in this thought?”
“How much money would it take for me to not leave the profession?”
Read the 2024 Athletic Trainer Compensation Survey White Paper! We sliced and diced all of the data you gave us last year and answered all of these questions and more.
Lindsey, Justin and I sincerely appreciate you taking the time to read through this paper. It was a passion project and something we are really proud of. It feels like we did a good job preparing data sets to help you advocate for yourself, drive change, and make decisions to make your life better.
