We are updating the athletic trainer reliability scoring system. There will be a preview of the new score on the app for ATs starting on June 1st before going live for job posters on September 1st.

NEW SCORING TIERS:

Excellent: 900–1000

Very Good: 800–890

Good: 670–790

Fair: 500–660

Poor: below 500

Why are we redoing the reliability score?

The current Reliability Score is a rudimentary ratio of completed shifts to callouts and no-shows.

The updated version gives ATs more direct control of their score through action/result driven mechanisms that better reflect real-world behavior. It incentivizes positive performance, like showing up consistently, while providing an action-based path to recovery should your score take a dip.

It essentially gives athletic trainers on the platform more direct control over their score.

Also, going to a 1000 point system allows us to add more point-boosting incentives in the future.

How has my new preview score been calculated?

The new score preview has been calculated using the last six months of your activity to show you how the new scoring system will work.

My Preview Score Is, uh, not what I would like it to be…

If your score is not where you would like it to be DON’T PANIC!

What you are seeing on your app is just a preview.

Any negative impact records from before June 1, 2026 will drop off and no longer affect your score after September 1, 2026. This transition period is designed to provide all athletic trainers with a fair start under the new model.

When the new Reliability Score launches on September 1, 2026, your new score will be a combination of your current legacy reliability score and any new reliability-related activity occurring after June 1, 2026

So, there are things you can do now to improve your score even further before the official launch.

WAYS TO BOOST/IMPROVE YOUR SCORE:

Your score gets a boost based on consecutive jobs worked without a callout or no-show.

5 consecutive shifts: +10 point streak boost

10 consecutive shifts: +20 point streak boost

25 consecutive shifts: +40 point streak boost

50 consecutive shifts: +50 point streak boost

Every additional 25 after 50: +30 point streak boost

Picking up a shift that starts in 24-72hrs: +30 points

Picking up a shift that starts under 24hrs: +30 points

There is no time limit on streaks. Say you work 6 shifts this year and then work 4 shifts 3 years from now, that total—10 shifts in 3 years—would count as a 10 shift streak and boost your reliability score.

A callout or no-show resets your streak to 0.

THINGS THAT HURT YOUR SCORE:

Callout 3–7 days before a scheduled shift: -30 points

Callout 24–72 hours before a scheduled shift: -60 points

Callout less than 24 hours before a scheduled shift: -90 points

Not showing up to a schedule shift: -140 points

Negative actions no longer drag down your reliability score forever. They are dropped after six months/180 days. For example, if you have -30 callout on Jan 1 that lowers your score from a 860 to a 830, and you were to take no score boosting actions, your score would return to an 860 on July 1.
