Philadelphia, PA–February 24, 2025. The Association for Athletic Training Education (AATE) is partnering with Go4 to assist with the recruitment of students starting at the high school level to seek higher education in athletic training. Go4 will help get information about the profession and individual athletic training programs out to high school students and their parents.  Later this year, AATE is going to host a high school focused virtual fair.  The AATE will also collaborate with Go4 on a new website to engage and educate high school students and parents regarding the profession of athletic training, including the pathways to becoming an athletic trainer and the various settings where athletic trainers provide care.

“Go4 is proud to partner with the Association for Athletic Training Education to expand awareness of athletic training as a career and engage the next generation of healthcare professionals. By working together to create educational resources, host virtual events, and connect with students, we’re strengthening the pathway into the profession and ensuring that young people and their families understand the critical role athletic trainers play in healthcare. This collaboration reflects our deep commitment to the future of athletic training and the continued growth of the profession.” K Ellis F Mair, EdM, LAT, ATC, Co-Founder and Chief Clinical Officer at Go4.

“We are thrilled to partner with Go4 in our shared commitment to expanding opportunities for students interested in the profession and current athletic training students. Together, we aim to cultivate a highly skilled and qualified workforce, strengthening the future of the profession,” says Jennifer Volberding PhD, LAT, ATC, Professor, Department Chair Athletic Training and Athletic Training Program Director at Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences. Dr. Volberding is also serving as the President of the AATE Board of Directors.
