Athletic Trainers are multi-skilled healthcare professionals recognized by the American Medical Association (AMA). Athletic Trainers offer care and treatment in accordance with their training and education, in accordance with all state rules and regulations. Duties include clinical evaluation, primary care, injury prevention and recovery, concussion diagnosis, education, return to play decisions and wellness programs. Athletic Trainers also offer emergent care, examination/clinical diagnosis, therapeutic intervention, and rehab for injuries and conditions.
