We started Go4 with a mission to get an athletic trainer on every sideline, everywhere.

Since the first shift was posted in 2019, athletic trainers on Go4 have made over $10 million dollars and have been responsible for 16.3 million patients.

At the time, we envisioned those sidelines to be predominantly sports-related.

But, as Michael Gerard Tyson so eloquently once put it, everyone has a plan until they get punched in the mouth . . .

The pandemic dramatically changed our definition of a ‘sideline’.

When the nation’s healthcare system was stretched to the breaking point, we mobilized and got athletic trainers into frontline roles at hospitals, distribution centers, factories and testing clinics.

It was the ultimate display of what athletic trainers are capable of.

Many of those industries and organizations that posted on the platform during the height of the pandemic continue to do so today. That combined with the full-on resumption of sports has resulted in a massive influx of jobs on the platform.

A good problem to have.

However, the demand is far outstripping the supply; leaving players, workers, patients and sidelines without an athletic trainer.

So, to further the mission–to get athletic trainers on every sideline, everywhere–we are opening the Go4 platform to every and all athletic trainers; regardless of their NATA membership status.

We believe this has the potential to not only create more opportunities for individual athletic trainers but for the profession at large.

For now. For the future. And beyond.
