No matter how many stories we read about life-saving action, or how many times sport’s largest figures highlight the necessity of them, there is still the need for constant education around athletic trainers.
According to a Reuter’s Health study, 33% of high schools in the US still do not have athletic trainers. In the private world of sports–which includes club teams, AAU, national governing bodies and mom & pop tournament operators–certified athletic trainers are often overlooked.
