What is the supervision of professional athletic training students?

The oversight of the developmental continuum and evolution of the student journey. Students move from interdependence to independence as knowledge and skills are acquired alongside relevant care experience. Preceptors remain on-site to intervene as needed between student and patient. Supervision occurs in compliance with the state practice act of the relevant state.
