What is a Chronic Injury?

A chronic injury, as opposed to an acute injury, is one that develops over time due to repetitive strain or motion. Chronic shoulder injuries commonly seen in athletic training for example could happen as a result of throwing a baseball, swimming, or lifting weights with poor form.
