Share your best Moment / Story / Anecdote as an RN:
My first heart transplant. Seeing someone cut out a human heart and just leave an empty cavity inside a chest is always impressive. Seeing them take a stranger’s heart out of a 6-pack cooler and sew it in is even better. Amazes me every time we can do that.
Quote/Lyric/Line that sums up Nursing For You: “You can keep complaining or we can keep working, your choice.”
What’s a day in the life like?
Alarm goes off, try to break it.
Fail. Get to work, find my OR, gather the team, then do 100 things at once until we’re done.
Usually succeed.
What has been the biggest change in the year of the pandemic?
Biggest Positive: Less traffic during commuting. Biggest Change: Increased anxiety throughout the population.
When you’re not working, where can we find you?
Probably the couch. Spending time with my wife and daughter is where I try to be.
